Giving Thanks
As we sit down for our turkey dinners, followed be an afternoon of family, football, and naps, let’s not forget about the reason for this holiday - Giving Thanks. God has blessed us beyond measure - we do not deserve any of the riches God has given to us. And yet we take everything we have for granted - as if it is rightfully ours. You and I both know this is not right.
My hope for you is to truly realize how blessed each and everyone of us is - and to thank God daily for the blessings (as well as the trials) that he bestows on us.
Let’s not forget that without Jesus, we would be in a sad, dark, depressing world. Through Him we have Hope, Faith, and Eternal Life.
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.
